Star Ferry Pier in Central refers to the ferry pier used by the Hong Kong Star Ferry, which provides accommodation between Central and Tsim Sha Tsui and Hung Hom. It's just a conventional name. At present, the terminal providing this service is the Central Ferry Terminal. Pier 7 is used for the Star Tsim Sha Tsui Line, while Pier 8 is used for the Hung Hom Line and Tsim Sha Tsui East Line operated by Haiyou Ferry. The pier that originally provided this service was the Edinburgh Square Ferry Pier that was being demolished.
