Wuhan University, referred to as "Wu Da" for short, is a famous comprehensive research university in China and the earliest national university in modern China. 1893, Zhang Zhidong, the governor of Huguang, broadcast a film about the self-improvement school founded by the Qing government, which opened the curtain of modern junior high school education. 1896 changed its name to dialect school; 19 13 years, one of the six normal universities in China; 1926 was renamed as National Wuchang Sun Yat-sen University; 1928 was named National Wuhan University, which is one of the four famous universities in the Republic of China. 1949 changed its name. It has a history of 125 years.
