In order to speed up the development of the school, our school began to build the second phase project in February 2007. The comprehensive building integrating office building, library and auditorium with an investment of/kloc-0.5 million yuan and the D3 building of student dormitory with an investment of 7.5 million yuan have been fully completed and put into use. The 400-meter standard plastic track and field has been invited for public bidding. Construction started on February 25th and was completed and put into use on June 5th. Recently, the school invested more than 7 million yuan to buy teaching and training equipment such as CNC lathes, machining centers, milling machines, injection molding machines, electrician PLC, wire cutting, spark machines, etc. Through these projects, the strength of the school will continue to increase. In September, 2007, the school passed the acceptance of the evaluation expert group of national key technical schools with high scores and was promoted to national key technical schools.

In order to fully implement the spirit of the vocational education conference of the Ministry of Education and strengthen the training of senior technicians, the school plans to recruit senior technicians from three majors and four classes in the spring of 2008 to meet the demand of modern science and technology and production technology for senior technicians. At the same time, it is planned to add a brand of Meizhou high-skilled public training base in 2008, which has strong competitive strength; 20 10 was promoted to senior technical school, which played a leading role in vocational skills training in Meizhou and other provinces and cities; 20 1 1 was promoted to the rank of technician college, becoming a technician college with 10,000 people, and becoming a demonstration base for vocational skills training in Meizhou and its brother provinces and cities.

In order to achieve the goal of "technical school for ten thousand people", the school plans to transform the science and technology museum originally allocated to the school into a training ground for students. The Municipal Labor and Social Security Bureau plans to take the Municipal Traffic Technician School as the teaching point, and plans to build two new teaching buildings and two student dormitories in the campus before 20 1 1 to meet the needs of ten thousand people's universities.
