According to statistics, in the first pilot exam, 1682 people signed up, 1629 people took the exam, and 492 people obtained the translation qualification certificate through the exam. The pilot examination has been recognized by the majority of candidates, providing valuable experience for continuing to expand the pilot in the country.

In late May, 2004, the pilot examination of English translation qualification for Grade II and III continued to expand. The second and third level interpretation examinations were extended to six cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Chongqing and Han, and the translation examinations were extended to Xi 'an, Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Chengdu, Changchun and Fuzhou *** 12 cities.

June 5438+065438+1October 13 and June 5438+04, 2004, the translation test of English Level 2 and Level 3 Translation Qualification Examination was held in 25 cities, and the interpretation test was held in 15 city. French Level 2 and Level 3 exams were piloted in Beijing and Shanghai; Japanese Level 2 and Level 3 exams were piloted in Beijing, Shanghai and Dalian.

The examination dates in 2005 are: May 28th, 29th and165438+1October 12, 13. The "consecutive interpretation" examination for the second and third professional qualifications (level) of English translation was held nationwide. Japanese interpretation and translation tests were conducted in Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian and Jinan. French interpretation and translation examinations were piloted in Beijing.
