Here is a brief introduction to my study period.
All the activities of the school are centered around the college entrance examination and learning.
1. Morning self-study starts at 6:50 in summer time and 7:05 in winter time, lasting for 30 minutes. There are four classes in the morning and afternoon, each class is 45 minutes, the break is 10 minutes, and the big break is 25 minutes. Lunch break is limited. The evening self-study begins at 18:40, with three periods of self-study until 2 1, and then a longer period of self-study until 22 o'clock in senior three.
Lunch break is very limited, so going home for dinner is a luxury choice; And the school has issued a series of policies (such as upgrading access control) to encourage all students to have lunch in the canteen. So is dinner time. The time from the end of the meal to the beginning of the class is the default self-study time, which is jointly constrained by the class teacher and the teachers. In fact, many people choose to secretly solve three meals a day in the classroom during various self-study hours. Although the school gate access control policy is becoming more and more strict, it is normal to order takeout or bring your own lunch into the classroom (I belong to the representative of the latter). To put it bluntly, the school is gradually reducing the disposable time of students every day. But another indisputable fact is that boarders who are far away from home have moved out of their dormitories and rented houses near the campus, becoming ordinary students.
In addition to the "legal" lunch break, dozing in the classroom will also be "forced" to wake up. Mobile phones, PSP and other electronic products that can be confiscated at a glance are widely used in "underground work" in classrooms and dormitories. Only during the sports meeting will school leaders and teachers turn a blind eye to mobile phones.
As a student, it can't be ignored that although there are weekends, complete entertainment is not allowed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There will naturally be evening self-study on Friday and Sunday. On Saturday, you need to attend six classes normally until about 15 in the afternoon, plus an unattended self-study (this kind of self-study makes people unable to concentrate on their studies, so it is normal to leave early). Saturday night is still free, but senior three will once again lose the only chance to sleep late on Sunday morning. And senior three usually face weekly exams on Sunday afternoons. Every grade will have a big holiday every month or two, or a legal holiday for three days, or a complete weekend, which is simply a gift. If it is not a big holiday, then the holiday will inevitably shrink.
Shrinkage in winter and summer vacation is quite serious. The winter vacation lasts about two weeks, and it will be a little longer for senior one and senior two, but those who are interested in participating in the competition and enrolling students independently will take a few days off (individual counseling) because of the training. Senior one (that is, freshmen who just entered the senior high school entrance examination) and senior two received two weeks of paid make-up classes in the summer vacation (this is an indiscriminate class for all, and in fact, it is often catching up with the progress of new courses, which reflects the loss of teaching plans to some extent? )。 The hot weather in the third year of new high school requires two classes to make up lessons, and there is no guarantee for lunch break. Later, because students from all over the country reported to the education authorities in Zhejiang and Ningbo (on the grounds of violating the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Department of Education to make up classes), classes were suspended in July and the make-up classes were temporarily cancelled in August (I also participated in the reporting action).
. Class placement and course selection. A grade usually includes four science experimental classes (1 experimental class +3 science classes, with opportunities to participate in competitions and enroll students independently), several general science classes and two liberal arts classes. In key middle schools, he was admitted through the senior high school entrance examination in advance, but did not take the senior high school entrance examination and entered the science experimental class. Candidates who pass the cross-regional class entrance examination of key middle schools also enter the science class. Candidates for the senior high school entrance examination can enter general science classes and liberal arts classes. After the freshman year, the liberal arts class will also receive many students who have transferred from science to liberal arts. Students in science experimental classes can also voluntarily transfer to ordinary classes, and vice versa.
The concepts of course selection and day study hardly exist. Science experimental class, general science class and liberal arts class each have their own curriculum arrangement and textbook selection, and the elective content also depends on the content of Zhejiang college entrance examination.
The real elective course is only given to freshmen in recent years.
Under the background of dealing with the general senior high school entrance examination, it is inevitable that some sub-courses will be suppressed and squeezed out. Due to the arrangement of examination subjects, information technology was tested in the first year of high school, and general technology only lasted until the second year of high school (at that time, there was no need to test technology in one or two courses of Zhejiang college entrance examination). Most people will not have the awareness of touching programming, even if they touch computers, they will only be used for entertainment purposes. It is no exaggeration to say that when I was a sophomore, I was the only one who found another way and embarked on the road of OI alone.
Music class and art class, the schedule is 0.5 class/week. How to understand it? Music or art classes are only given once a week, alternating between one week and two weeks. There are few teachers engaged in music and fine arts, and the limited class hours often give way to the preparation for the "129" literary evening and the "Red May" singing competition (many people have no talent and are absent-minded, so they are forced to rehearse, which delays their study time and wastes their lives). In the late review period of the senior two exams, the school leaders directly ordered the deletion of these "irrelevant" classes. My interest in art music, just awakened in the enlightenment stage, sank into the schoolwork. (The fact is, I got a political A in HKCEE lightly that semester, which was not achieved by most people except the liberal arts class, nor was it a benign result of "minor subjects succumbing to examination subjects". )
Combined with the above examples, I don't agree with the strategies and measures of the school in building campus characteristic culture. From the network
