The activity is held in the community elderly activity room. Volunteers first gave a unified lecture, focusing on the specific use of communication tools such as WeChat and QQ, simple operations such as searching information on the Internet and listening to music, as well as common problems and solutions in the use process. The residents listened carefully and took notes carefully, so that they could follow the notes when they got home. After explaining the basic operation methods, the volunteers taught them to the residents on the spot one by one. At the scene, residents raised the problems encountered in the daily use of electronic products such as smart phones and computers, and then volunteers answered them one by one.

Through such learning activities, middle-aged and elderly people in the community can better master the use of modern scientific and technological products and narrow the distance with young people. Some participants in this study are members of amateur literature and art groups in the community. After understanding, they said that there will be another method and platform for future exchanges between members. In the past, we used to contact each other by telephone, but in the future, we can also contact each other through QQ, WeChat, etc., and we can also find more content suitable for our team activities online.
