Zhicheng College of Fuzhou University was approved by the Ministry of Education. In July, 2003, Fuzhou University, a national "2 1 1 Project" key construction university, the Fujian Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education, was jointly organized to implement full-time undergraduate education according to the new mechanism and model.
