History of Hunan Vocational College of Science and Technology Industry?
Hunan Institute of Technology was renamed from Hunan Industrial Senior Technical School, formerly known as Hunan Chemical Machinery Technical School, which was founded in 1974 and belongs to the Ministry of Chemical Industry. After more than 30 years of exploration and development, the school has become a comprehensive institution integrating higher vocational and technical education and adult education. The school covers an area of 20.26 hectares (more than 300 mu), including newly requisitioned land 10.66 hectares (159.9 mu), with a total construction area of 89,693 square meters (excluding new teaching buildings and student dormitories) and total fixed assets of 674 1 10,000 yuan. At present, there are 4863 students, 263 on-the-job faculty members, 172 with middle and senior titles, and 142 full-time teachers.

Now 1995 has been approved by the Ministry of Education and set up a general secondary school. 1998 The Ministry of Chemical Industry was revoked and the school was placed under the jurisdiction of Hunan Province. Now the competent unit is Hunan Petrochemical Industry Management Office. In 2002, it was appraised and accepted by the Ministry of Labor as "National Key Technical School", and in early 2004, it was appraised and accepted by the Provincial Department of Education and approved by the Ministry of Education as "National Key Secondary Vocational School". In May 2005, with the approval of Hunan Provincial People's Government, it merged with Hunan Building Materials Technical School to form "Hunan Industrial Senior Technical School". After the merger of the two schools, the headquarters of Hunan Industrial Senior Technical School is located in the former Hunan Building Materials Technical School (No.82, Hongqi South Road, Hetang District, Zhuzhou City). The former Hunan Chemical Machinery Senior Technical School was temporarily used as a branch school (Youxian). By the end of 2005. There are more than 20 majors in mechatronics, welding, numerical control application technology, computer application, mold design and manufacturing, business English and so on. In 2005, a welding technician class was opened, and the school and Zhuzhou Jiufang Welding Technology Research Institute jointly established an international welder training and research center (only two in China). CNC application technology specialty has also become the first training base of Zhejiang University in Hunan. The school adheres to the road of integration of science, education, industry and trade, and has achieved good school-running benefits. The school has been running for more than 30 years and has trained nearly 60 thousand students throughout the country. The "measuring oil tank" and "daily oil tank" developed by the school-run factory are exported to Iran; The tower crane has obtained the production license issued by the state, and the butyl rubber film fixed-length automatic cutting machine fills the gap in the domestic production of the crane. The school has won more than 60 honorary titles such as "National Key Technical School", "National Training Base for Advanced Skilled Talents" and "Hunan Demonstration Technical School". In 2006, approved by Zhuzhou Development and Reform Commission (2006) No.474, according to the national requirements, social needs and the conditions of the school's own development, it is planned to build the school into a demonstration base for training migrant workers with a scale of 6,000 full-time students, 2,000 on-the-job academic education and short-term training in three years. Since 2005, the school has undertaken the sub-project of "Research and Practice of Teaching Mode Reform of CNC Technology Application Specialty", which is a key project of ministries and agencies. On June 5438-1October1April-June 55438+05, 2008, it was unanimously recognized by the experts of the research group. This is the first provincial-level key teaching and research topic successfully concluded in this school. For more than two years, the members of the research group have studied the demand for jobs from the employment reality, and made useful explorations in view of the current curriculum status and existing problems in technical colleges. The research and formulation of the talent training program has defined the orientation goal of talent training, and established a curriculum system that is employment-oriented, enterprise demand, ability and comprehensive employment quality. At the same time, the four core courses of mechanical drawing, turning, CNC lathe operator and quality education have developed a complete set of course contents, such as teaching syllabus, teaching plan, school-based textbooks, electronic teaching plans, teaching methods, teaching process, teaching means and teaching environment, which are operable and effective in the application process of the three experimental classes, and have been affirmed and praised by peers and recognized by students. Therefore, they are also scalable. The successful completion of the two provincial-level projects in the school represents a new level of education and scientific research in the school, which will further promote the smooth realization of the strategy of research-oriented schools.
