First, set a good goal.

Whenever we get a project, we usually design it from the beginning. In fact, there is nothing wrong with doing this, but it will not make our design faster. Therefore, we would rather spend more time thinking and pondering the goals of the project design, rather than starting the design immediately, establishing clear goals, and clarifying what we want to do and how to do it, so as to complete the design more orderly, simpler and faster.

Second, don't wait for inspiration.

Every good idea will not appear out of thin air. We can't guarantee that each of us is a master designer. While we are waiting for a good idea to appear, others may have tried one idea after another. Maybe the original idea is not so good, but every time we adjust and modify it, it will get better. Therefore, continuous efforts are needed, and only by continuous changes can we come up with feasible solutions.

Three. draft

You should be familiar with the draft! Just as we work out the answers on calculus paper when calculating arithmetic, we will fill them in the test paper. Of course, we also need to make a draft when designing. Drawing ideas on paper is an effective way. If we think we can do it, we will achieve it, if not, we will give up. It sounds like a waste of time, but it is really an important step. If you want to hurry, you must keep drawing.

Fourth, learn to listen to suggestions.

We should share the contents of our design with others so as to listen to their opinions and ideas. In fact, as designers, it is easy for us to fall into our own thinking mode, but the design of products is not for ourselves, but for others. But we don't have to blindly listen to other people's opinions. This is not to let us ignore it, but to see if what we say while listening makes sense to us.

Verb (short for verb) rest

As designers, we have little rest time, but if we take a break and come back, we may find that the previous problems have been solved. Sometimes the answer doesn't appear when you are absorbed in thinking, but when you are holding coffee or chatting with colleagues, you stare blankly out of the window. In short, optimize your time structure, don't think in isolation, get inspiration from outside your project.
