With a history of nearly 50 years, the Police Officer Training College affiliated to Shandong Prison Bureau is the education and training base of the people's police in Shandong prison system, which has trained a large number of talents for the society, especially prisons and reeducation-through-labor units, and made great contributions to the development of reeducation-through-labor in Shandong prisons. Shandong University of Political Science and Law is a full-time institution of higher learning officially approved by the Ministry of Education. Over the years, I have accumulated rich experience in running a school, formed a unique concept and excellent tradition of running a school, trained a large number of applied and compound talents, and made positive contributions to the construction of democracy and legal system and economic and social development and progress in the province.
After the cooperation between Shandong Prison Bureau and Shandong University of Political Science and Law, the police officer training college under the bureau can rely on the brand of the University of Political Science and Law, make use of the educational resources, management resources and teachers of the University of Political Science and Law, improve its own school-running quality and education quality, and cultivate high-quality talents needed by the prison, which will play an important role in gradually solving the problems such as the shortage of prison police force and the suspension of correctional personnel. At the same time, as targeted employment units for graduates of the College of Political Science and Law, all prison units in the province have further broadened the employment channels for students majoring in applied law in the College of Political Science and Law, expanded the school-running advantages of applied law in the College of Political Science and Law, and improved their competitive strength.
