Why do parents always carry schoolbags when they go to school after 1980s and 1990s? Why do parents always carry schoolbags when children go to school now?
In September, another new semester began. On the way, parents or grandparents who send their children to school are often seen at the school gate, and parents teach their children to carry their own schoolbags. Looking back, when I was in primary school, most of the post-80s and post-90s students went to school with their schoolbags on their backs, and some of them walked and took the bus to school by themselves. Are children too delicate nowadays? Or are parents too doting? What does this phenomenon mean? Let's see:

First, times are different. Now parents have different parenting concepts and pay more attention to their children's education. Although the second child policy has just been liberalized, family planning advocated a good child before, so most children are still only children. Parents take care of each other and have someone to take care of them. It also attaches great importance to education. Whether it is at the school gate or at the entrance of extracurricular training courses, there is no shortage of parents' pick-up and waiting.

Second, with the development of modernization, road manipulation is complicated and there are many vehicles. In recent years, with the development of economy, the road has become wider and wider. In addition to bicycles and electric vehicles, the number of motor vehicles is increasing day by day, which leads to traffic safety hazards for children to go out to school by themselves. Therefore, especially for junior students, parents are generally responsible for sending them to and from school.

Third, there are many subjects and a heavy number of books. I still remember when I was a child, we only had a few simple languages, such as math and sports. Nowadays, children pay more attention to all-round development and their subjects have increased. In addition to Chinese and mathematics, there are morality and rule of law, calligraphy, music, fine arts and Chinese studies. The number of books has also increased accordingly. It's really a little heavy for young children to carry backpacks all the way. Of course, we still advocate doing our own thing, and try our best to let the children carry their schoolbags under the weight they can bear.
