I. Introduction to the College Suzhou Gaobo Software Technology Vocational College is a full-time ordinary college approved by the Jiangsu Provincial Government and filed by the Ministry of Education.

In March 2007, it was founded by Microsoft (China) Co., Ltd., Suzhou High-tech District Government and Gaobo Education Management (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., aiming at cultivating high-quality, applied and international talents needed by modern service industry and strategic emerging industries for Jiangsu Province, the Yangtze River Delta and even the whole country.

College is located in suzhou science and technology town, 3 kilometers away from Taihu Lake, covering an area of 400 mu, with a total construction area of about 6,543,800+0.26 million square meters, and has advanced and perfect teaching and living facilities.

At present, there are 8 teaching units including Software Engineering Department, Information Engineering Department, International Business Department, Aviation Technology Department, Architectural Art College, Ministry of Public Education, Gaobo International College, Training R&D Center and it Training Center.

It has formed a multi-level school-running pattern such as general colleges, specialized education (transfer), training education and international education. There are nearly 8,000 students of all kinds and nearly 300 faculty members. ?

The college consists of software engineering department, network engineering department, international business department, college of architecture and art, aviation technology department and foundation department. In 2007, five majors were set up: software technology, computer information management, computer network technology, network system management and computer multimedia technology.

It is divided into Web application development, desktop application development, embedded system, information engineering supervision and other 12 professional directions. BPO (service outsourcing) was added in 2009, and the curriculum system was developed in cooperation with Dalian Software Park. Professional skills are divided into three categories: IT service outsourcing, data processing outsourcing and financial outsourcing.
