You can wait until the primary school begins to contact watercolor, but it is still not recommended to contact Chinese painting. You can show him all kinds of albums and pictures, and let him freely choose his favorite pictures to copy or create by himself. Finally, after establishing his preference, he will choose whether to go to China for traditional art training or western art training, which can be 1 at the beginning of grade 4-6 or even primary school.
