ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is the abbreviation of Information Technology Infrastructure Library. ITIL is a set of best practice guidelines for IT service management issued by the Central Computer and Telecommunication Management Center (CCTA) of the British government in the early 1990s, aiming at solving the problem of poor IT service quality. Then, on the basis of a series of practices and explorations made by mainstream IT resource management software vendors such as HP, IBM, BMC, CA and Peregrine in recent years, CCTA summarized the best practical experience of IT services and formed a series of process-based methods to standardize the level of IT services. Later, CCTA was merged into the British Department of Commerce (OGC). At present, the copyright and distribution right of ITIL belong to OGC.
In short, it is international certification. This certification station is relatively high in height, generally inclined to managers, and considers IT construction within its jurisdiction from a global perspective.
This kind of certificate is very popular in foreign companies, especially large manufacturing enterprises. If you often browse recruitment websites such as 5 1JOB, you will find that ITIL has many requirements in foreign companies in Europe and America.
So, if you want to jump ship to a foreign company, this is a good certification. This certificate is of little use if you are not going to a foreign company.
