Yongzhou No.5 Middle School, founded in 1943, is a complete junior middle school.

The name of this school has been changed several times in history. Originally known as "Private Zhicheng Middle School", 1952 was renamed as No.4 Junior High School in Lingling County. 1958 was rated as No.4 Middle School in Lingling County; During the Cultural Revolution, it was renamed Dongfanghong Middle School; 1985 changed its name to lengshuitan No.4 Middle School at the county level.
