Shanghai Pudong New Area Supplementary School is a special education school that provides nine-year compulsory education, rehabilitation training and primary vocational and technical training for children with intellectual disabilities.

The school is divided into three campuses: Lujiazui, Shangnan and Zhonghua. There are 92 faculty members and nearly 500 students with various mental retardation, aged from 8 to 18. Under the guidance of the school philosophy of "let every child with mental retardation get the best development", the school strives to make it a paradise for children with mental retardation to learn knowledge and skills, a home for rehabilitation and wisdom, a healthy garden, and a good school expected by parents of children with mental retardation.
