Co., Ltd. was incorporated in Suzhou Industrial Park on February 8, 2004 and officially opened for business. Thanks to the efforts of Jimmy China's team, Suzhou No.1 Factory passed the examination of QS9000 and TS 16949 successively shortly after its establishment, creating a record of10 billion capacitors.

Based on the outstanding business performance of Jimmy Suzhou No.1 Factory, the US headquarters officially started construction of China Suzhou No.2 Factory on June 18, 2004, with an additional total investment of 70 million US dollars. The new factory will be dedicated to the whole process production of the latest tantalum capacitors leading the world. At present, the project has been officially completed and started large-scale trial operation. In addition, in Suzhou No.2 factory, we have set up a product research and development department, which will devote itself to the development and improvement of the latest products.

Last June, Jimei Company announced in its annual financial report that it would transfer 50% of the global manufacturing capacity to China before 2007, and at the same time deepen its customer service and product development capabilities in China. From June 5438 to February 2005, Jimei Company formally acquired the R&D, manufacturing, market development and sales business of EPCOS (Germany) Tantalum Capacitor Division, and planned to transfer these newly acquired projects from Germany to Suzhou, China.
