Shanghai Nanshan Temple Cultural Relics Restoration Center Address
Shanghai Nanshan Temple is located in Xinchang Town, Nanhui Millennium Ancient Town, Pudong, Shanghai. It has a history of more than 700 years. Nanshan Temple, commonly known as Nan 'an, is located at the southern end of Xinchang Town Street. In the tenth year of Dade in Yuan Dynasty (1306), the monk was built in Xi 'an, formerly known as Chang Ji 'an. At the beginning of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty, the monk Jiuru rebuilt it and renamed it Nanshan Temple, also known as Nanshan Zen Temple. It is the only Buddhist resort in Xinchang, a famous historical and cultural town in China. On May 29th, 2002, it was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Nanhui District.
