Ug is widely used in the north, because it is easy to get started and its precision requirement is not very high. It can be programmed directly on the same soft armor, which is suitable for casting molds with low precision requirement. PROE is troublesome, with strong parameterization function and high precision. It entered China earlier and gained wide popularity, and was mostly used in plastic mold design. Generally, large factories will use PROE, while small factories will use UG to save money.
