This discipline is a characteristic advantage discipline formed by the Medical College of Tibet University, which combines its own characteristics with the unique geographical and traditional advantages of Xizang Autonomous Region, the modern research and development of plateau medicine and Tibetan medicine, the epidemiological study of endemic diseases and common diseases in Tibet and the study of Tibetan genomics. At present, it has established good cooperation and counterpart assistance relations with West China Medical Center of Sichuan University (formerly West China Medical University), peking university health science center and Fudan University, and carried out multi-level and multi-channel exchanges and cooperation in teacher training and joint education. Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (Teachers' College): Specialty is a distinctive specialty of Tibet University. In 2007, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance announced the list of the second batch of characteristic specialty construction sites in colleges and universities, and both this major and agronomy (plant production) major were selected.
