There are three teaching methods in Thailand: all Thai, bilingual and English. Each major will have different teaching methods. Decide your language requirements according to your major. Some majors only teach Thai or English, so you need to read the matriculation or IELTS TOEFL scores in advance. If you choose bilingual teaching, you need to pass basic oral English.
