Basic movements of Xinjiang dance:

1, relax your neck first;

2, do head movements, waist back, left and right, turn around, translate, stretch the neck back and forth, find the feeling of twisting the neck;

3. When you move your neck, your chin retracts and your shoulders droop. The key is to find the consciousness of the neck, and sometimes you can hear the sound of bones moving with the sensory belt of the back of the head;

When you move your neck, your eyes are very important. You have to raise your eyebrows, pick your eyes and look at the direction in which your eyes swing, then your chin will try to close together and your neck will move mechanically.

5. Neck moving method: side wall. Let one side of your body completely stick to the wall, and try to make your face face the wall. Repeat 10 times for 20 seconds each time. After changing sides, put your hands on the mirror and try to move.

The original ethnic group of Xinjiang dance is Uygur, with lively and graceful dance, brisk and dexterous pace, and meticulous use of various parts of the body, especially rich changes in wrists and dances. The female dance is graceful and stretched, and the male dance is vigorous and powerful, with a strong western style, which can be divided into Sainaim dance, Sama dance and Daolang dance.

Take the Senem dance as an example, there are no prescribed movements and procedures. Generally, men and women dance in pairs, and there is no limit to the number. When dancing, the singer doesn't jump and the dancer doesn't sing. It develops with the development of musical emotion and always ends with Allegro. Sainaim varies from place to place because of its musical style, but there is no obvious difference in general dance movements.

In addition to the Sainaim dance, the Hui, Uzbek and Russian ethnic groups in Xinjiang all have their own rich and beautiful folk music and dances, which have presented wonderful flowers to our national art treasure house and "the hometown of singing and dancing" in Xinjiang.
