Since the first year of high school, Wang Hao has been firmly ranked in the top ten of the grade. Finally, in the college entrance examination, Wang Hao succeeded in breaking through the barrier with a perfect score and a total score of 704, knocking on the gate of the Department of Mathematics of Peking University. In Wang Hao's view, the achievement of learning and training is not achieved by "understanding", but by long-term persistent learning methods and standards. Wang Hao bluntly said that his learning method is actually relatively simple. Since the first day of junior high school, he has always adhered to three learning principles.
1, the problem will not happen overnight.
Math problems may be encountered when doing problems, or they may appear when attending classes, but whenever there is a problem, Wang Hao can't spend the night. After encountering difficulties, Wang Hao habitually marked questions in his notebook first, such as the fifth question (solid geometry in senior high school) on p34 of Teaching Assistant II, so as to make simple notes.
After correcting, if there is an opportunity, put the common questions in your spare time. If you don't have time, stay in the evening self-study time and use dinner or recess to ask teachers or classmates for answers. Wang Hao believes that if we insist on doing problems all night, this reading habit is not only to improve the use of study time, but also to reduce the deposition of problems and prevent the following situations from happening.
2. Explanations are all training.
Unlike being told by parents not to waste all their time teaching others to do problems, Wang Hao has been habitually explaining problems to other students. He believes that an explanation process is not only to consolidate a part of the grasp and further study and training. In fact, to a certain extent, some key knowledge that was not fluent can be repeated, but it can be understood more fluently.
In the case of explaining the knowledge points, it is from the perspective of the teacher. If there is no real cognitive ability, it is difficult to explain a problem clearly, so this is a so-called "knowledge extraction" process, which is one of the keys to measure whether students can get high marks in the exam.
3. Concentrate on great things.
In Wang Hao's view, learning effect is only related to concentration, and has nothing to do with learning time. If you want to make a test paper, you need to concentrate when you do it. Don't be distracted, it will cause you to finish the test paper in three hours instead of two hours, and your grades will still be very low.
It is one of Wang Hao's learning principles to concentrate on doing great things, especially mathematics, a course that pays attention to concentration. This reading habit plays a higher role.
