Party spirit is the cornerstone of party member cadres' establishment, career, speech and morality, and must be continuously strengthened in strict inner-party life exercise; Party spirit education is a compulsory course for party member to cultivate his self-cultivation, and it is also party member's "mind study"; It is necessary to strengthen party spirit education and improve the consciousness and firmness of party member cadres in adhering to the fine style and resisting the bad style.

Party spirit education should be regarded as the main content of party school teaching, and education on ideals and beliefs, the party's purpose, the history of the party, revolutionary traditions, moral conduct, legal thinking and anti-corruption should be carried out, and party discipline in party constitution should be regarded as the important content of party spirit education. Party spirit education is one of the important contents of education in party member.

Our party has always attached importance to strengthening party spirit education. 1939 On May 30th, Comrade Chen Yun published the article "How to be a * * * party member" in the 72nd issue of Liberation, the the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China organ newspaper, clearly stating that party member should learn Marxism-Leninism theory and strengthen party spirit training. In July of the same year, Comrade Liu Shaoqi delivered a long speech entitled "On the Cultivation of XXX party member", which aroused great repercussions.

1941July, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee adopted the central government's decision on strengthening party spirit training. 1In February, 1980, the Fifth Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China adopted Several Guidelines on Political Life within the Party, which stipulated that Party spirit should be upheld and factionalism should be eradicated.
