General situation of Yangpu middle school
Excellent teachers with excellent ideological style, enterprising spirit, high professional level of education and teaching and strong innovation ability are the most valuable assets of the school. Since the national open recruitment of teachers from 65438 to 0994, a large number of excellent teachers have been introduced, bringing together the educational elites of 25 provinces and regions across the country. By 2008, teachers with bachelor degree or above accounted for 93%, master 14, 3 provincial backbone teachers and 34 senior teachers. From 2003 to 2008, 16 teachers won the national and provincial first prizes, published 12 monographs, published more than 400 teaching and research papers in journals above the provincial level, and won 8 1 national and provincial first prizes.

This school is a provincial-level curriculum reform demonstration school in Hainan Province and a comprehensive demonstration school in the experimental area of curriculum reform in senior high schools. Since junior high school and senior high school entered the new curriculum experiment in the autumn of 2002 and 2004, they have made remarkable achievements in the new curriculum reform, and have been interviewed or reported by People's Education, School Management, China Education News, Hainan Daily, Southern Metropolis Daily, Modern Education News and Hainan TV Station. We have reformed teaching methods and opened many unique school-based courses, which have broadened students' horizons. We practice autonomous learning and exercise students' ability; We go to the society and guide students to extract true knowledge from practice. Our school-based training is pragmatic and diverse, including theoretical study, expert reports, evening classes for teachers, educational salons, case discussions, experience exchanges, lectures and observation. Since 2004, we began to carry out online teaching and research activities. Every teacher in this school has his own blog home page, which is uploaded every week to attend classes and evaluate classes. Every semester, every teaching and research group will hold a blog education salon. In the 2006-2007 school year, we had 230 blog members, and teachers published 6646 blog teaching and research articles and 8486 comments, with 396 1094 hits. Teachers' blogs are rich and colorful, and teaching and scientific research are fruitful.

After the school curriculum reform achieved remarkable results, it received many invitations to exchange experiences inside and outside the province, and its reputation gradually spread throughout the country. In 2006, President Chen Guang participated in the training course for principals of curriculum reform in senior high schools held in Beijing, and was invited to give a lecture entitled "Experience the joy of teaching and learning". In 2006, at the invitation of the Ministry of Education, Vice President Zhu Jinlong went to Beijing, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian, Tianjin, Liaoning, Shanghai and other places on behalf of the school to give an exchange lecture on the curriculum reform in senior high schools, and introduced the experience of the new curriculum experiments that are about to begin in these places. In 2007, President Chen Guang attended the first senior seminar for principals of the comprehensive demonstration school in the experimental area of high school curriculum reform sponsored by the Ministry of Education in Shanghai, and gave a report on "Deepening curriculum reform and developing teachers and students together".
