Second, the curriculum is different.

1, experimental class of Tsinghua Computer Department: Mr. Yao has specially prepared the 15 core course by combining the advanced methods of computer education in MIT, Stanford University and Princeton University.

2. Computer Department of Tsinghua: The computer department has two first-class disciplines, namely computer science and technology and software engineering. Among them, computer science and technology belong to the first batch of national key first-class disciplines.

This first-level discipline includes three two disciplines: computer system structure, computer software and theory, and computer application technology. These three two disciplines are also national key two disciplines, which is one of the few two disciplines units with all key units in China.

Third, the development direction is different.

1. Experimental class of Tsinghua Computer Department: 42 students studied in Tsinghua University Cross Information Research Institute founded by Mr. Yao, and 25 students continued to study in Tsinghua Computer Department.

Eighty-five people went to the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong and France for graduate studies, including 5 from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 9 from Princeton, 5 from Stanford University, 6 from CMU, 3 from Yale University 1, 3 from University of Pennsylvania, 6 from Columbia University and 2 from UCBerkeley2. Twenty people went to work in famous computer companies, such as MSRA, IBM, Facebook and Netease.

2. Computer Department of Tsinghua: The Computer Department has jointly established several research centers with the government, many enterprises and universities, including the Key Laboratory of Pervasive Computing (Ministry of Education) and the Key Laboratory of Media and Network Technology-Microsoft and Peking University Visual Media Intelligent Processing and Content Security Engineering Research Center.
