1, prepress: refers to prepress work, generally refers to photography, design, production, typesetting, output film proofing, etc.
2. Intermediate printing: refers to the work in the middle of printing and the process of printing finished products with a printing machine.
3. Post-printing: refers to the post-printing work, generally refers to the post-processing of printed matter, including gluing (laminating), UV, oiling, beer, bronzing, embossing, mounting, binding and cutting. , mainly used for publicity and packaging printed matter.
Printing process:
1, relief printing
Relief printing is to make the printed matter similar to the original through pressure processing, and the general production object is oil painting and the like. After printing, a layer of plastic film is pasted on the printed matter, and then a pre-made embossing plate (that is, the gravure plate obtained from the original painting) is pressed on the printed matter, so that a beautiful replica exactly like the original painting can be made.
2, the way of gilding silver foil
Gold fonts or patterns often seen on book covers, wooden boards, plastic surfaces, etc. By heating the pattern or text to be bronzed in relief, then putting the aluminum foil paper of the required color on the printed matter, and then the aluminum foil will fall on the printed matter after being pressed. This effect is particularly good, and at the same time, the aluminum foil will be closely attached to the printed matter and will never fade.
3. Magnetic printing
Magnetic printing is mainly used for securities checks to prevent forgery. Magnetic printing is called MICR. Its main printing purpose is to print numbers and symbols such as 0-9 by mixing magnetic powder and ink under checks.
4, concave-convex embossing
The paper is embossed by pressure, which is of course the feeling produced by the elastic function of the paper. Both concave and convex models are necessary. The general method is to fix the punch on the table and then heat it slightly. When the concave model is pressed from top to bottom, the paper will have a concave-convex shape.
5. Floating printing (letterpress printing)
After ordinary printed matter is printed, resin powder (such as rosin powder currently used in Hong Kong) is spread on the wet ink, then the powder is dissolved in the ink, and then the printed part can be raised by heating. Float printing powder has bright color, dark color, gold color, silver color, fluorescent color and so on.
