Jining Medical College does not learn English as a second foreign language. Official website of Jining Medical College introduced that the major of college English is to cultivate students' English language ability and related professional knowledge, rather than taking other foreign languages as a second language. Jining Medical College, referred to as "Jiyi" for short, is a medical college organized by Shandong Provincial People's Government. It was selected as the first batch of national excellent doctoral education and training plan, Shandong excellent engineer education and training plan, the first batch of supporting units for the construction of applied undergraduate colleges in Shandong Province, and the rule of law talent training base of Shandong Law School. It is one of the earliest universities in China with the largest number of undergraduate students in psychiatry.
