Peking University Health Science Center (Peking University? HealthScienceCenter (PKUHSC for short), formerly known as National Beijing Medical College, was founded in 19 12 10.26. It is the first public school in China government's Ministry of Education to teach western medicine by relying on China's own strength. On April 3rd, 2000, the former Beijing Medical University and Peking University formally merged to form a new Peking University.
On May 4th, 2000, Beijing Medical University officially changed its name to peking university health science center. Member units of Beijing University Alliance for Training Excellent Medical Talents. Peking university health science center is the first batch of institutions of higher learning under the national "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project". It is one of the most important medical innovation research bases and advanced medical and health personnel training bases in China, and a member of the medical "double first-class" construction alliance.
