The college is located in the West Ring Road of Shengli Street in Dunhua City, covering an area of 60,000 square meters, and has a high-standard teaching building, canteen and dormitory building of 1 1460 square meters. In the 3,300-square-meter practice training base, the main roads of the school are all paved with concrete, covering an area of 6,000 square meters, the tunnels are paved with colored bricks of 1.520 square meters, and four high-standard basketball and volleyball venues are built. Bi Baoshan, Dean of Dunhua Vocational and Technical College, devoted all his energy to vocational education and made contributions to vocational education and adult education in Dunhua.

In 2004, vocational secondary school merged with six other schools to form Dunhua Vocational and Technical College. At the beginning of the establishment of the college, there were many problems in terms of teachers' equipment and teaching. In 2005, the college became a provincial key vocational education center, and in 2007, it was declared as a national key vocational education center.
