According to the relevant provisions of Article 8 of the Interim Provisions on Computer Technology and Software Technology Qualification Examination, anyone who abides by the Constitution and laws of People's Republic of China (PRC), abides by professional ethics and has certain computer technology application ability can sign up for the corresponding professional category and level examination according to his own situation. Candidates can choose the corresponding level of qualification according to their own technical level, but only one qualification is allowed in an exam.
The personnel who have obtained the certificate through examination show that they have the level and ability to engage in the corresponding professional posts. The employer may select the corresponding professional and technical posts (technicians, assistant engineers, engineers and senior engineers) from the personnel who have obtained the certificate according to the needs of the work.
