Experience of nurses in learning intravenous infusion (1)
First of all, I want to thank the nurse for giving me such a good learning opportunity; At the same time, I thank my dear sisters for their support in my study.
I didn't have a chance to start intravenous infusion when it was the turn of my internship to pediatrics and newborns. Now, as long as I am here, all the opportunities for injections are left to me. Interns can only watch, not try it themselves. I can't help feeling a little proud when I think of my years, hehe.
Our department is understaffed, but we have to make time for me to go out to study. It is the sisters who have worked hard. Therefore, I am particularly grateful.
It is true that you dare not make progress. Legend has it that pediatric infusion is horrible. After studying for two weeks, it seems that it is not so scary. Small needles for small blood vessels. What children need to overcome is how to move and how to fix. I am most afraid that they will move.
Newborn babies are so cute that nurses sometimes hug and kiss them. That's the only department that can do it. The baby is short of hugs, and hugs won't cry.
Pediatric children are older, and they will be much more obedient when they are coaxed and boasted.
Tomorrow is the last day of pediatrics. I will cherish it more.
Experience of Nurses Learning Intravenous Infusion (Ⅱ)
Thanks to the hospital and nursing department for giving me the opportunity to participate in the training of specialist nurses. After two months' study, I successfully passed all the assessment items of the training base, and obtained the certificate of completion of the training course for specialized nurses in Huaxi Hospital, the qualification certificate of provincial specialized nurses issued by the Provincial Health Department and the international PICC certificate of vascular access college of Budd Company.
The training of specialist nurses not only enriched my theoretical knowledge, but also greatly improved my practical skills, broadened our vision of nursing work mode in high-grade hospitals and gave me a brand-new understanding of the work of specialist nurses.
Through this study, I understand: nurses' infusion is not just to carry out doctor's orders; We should not only be the executors of nursing technology, but also be collaborators of medical diagnosis, educators of health consultation and helpers of psychological support. As a specialist nurse in intravenous therapy, we should first love nursing specialty, have comprehensive nursing theoretical knowledge, have a high sense of responsibility and have certain professional practice ability. It is best for general practitioners to have certain literacy in order to ensure the quality of intravenous infusion care and ensure that patients get the best care. This is also the goal that our nurses pursue.
According to statistics, more than 80% patients received different forms of infusion treatment during hospitalization, and infusion often lasted until the end of treatment. And our hospital may even exceed this number.
Our intravenous infusion treatment is still limited to simple puncture and medication according to the doctor's advice. Our nurses lack knowledge in water, electrolyte balance, pharmacology, infection control, blood product infusion therapy, parenteral nutrition, anti-tumor therapy and so on. Therefore, in order to improve the nursing quality of intravenous infusion treatment, standardize the operation technology of intravenous infusion, implement successful venipuncture, alleviate the pain of patients and reduce the complications of intravenous infusion, we should start from the following aspects.
First of all, we should improve the management system of intravenous infusion in our hospital, which is the premise to ensure quality and safety. Perfect intravenous infusion system mainly includes: intravenous therapy professional management system, intravenous therapy technology management system, infusion equipment management system, medication safety management system, infection control and so on.
Secondly, it is necessary to strengthen the professional construction of infusion treatment team, which is the demand of professional development of nursing discipline; This is also the need of the development of intravenous infusion therapy; It is also the key to ensure the infusion treatment and safety in our hospital.
Thirdly, the nursing department of the hospital set up an intravenous infusion treatment group to provide intravenous infusion service for patients with scientific methods, and trained the members of the group from both theoretical and practical aspects to improve the nurses' vascular evaluation, protection ability and venipuncture operation level, and improve patients' satisfaction.
After the training, my brain is full of too much information and excitement. Teacher Luo Yanli from Huaxi Hospital and their team made me feel too much strength. The gap between hospitals, people and teams is really too big. What we have to do is to start from bit by bit, from the most basic, slowly change ideas, change behaviors, do the right thing, stick to the right thing, and protect our patients to the maximum extent.
I will apply the advanced concept and technology of intravenous infusion learned in this training to clinical nursing practice, standardize the operation technology, and make a modest contribution to the specialization of intravenous therapy in our hospital.
Nurse's learning experience of intravenous infusion (Ⅲ)
With the continuous refinement of medical disciplines, nursing is also developing towards specialization. Nursing specialization marks the progress of nursing work, which means that nursing work has changed from all-round contact to a model that focuses on a specific operating range that requires professional knowledge and skills. In many nursing practice fields, intravenous infusion therapy nursing is the most widely used practice activity. According to statistics, 90% ~ 95% of inpatients need intravenous infusion. In order to improve the quality of intravenous infusion treatment and nursing, standardize the operation technology of intravenous infusion, implement successful venipuncture, alleviate the pain of patients and reduce the complications of intravenous infusion, intravenous infusion treatment and nursing are moving towards specialization and gradually developing into a professional science.
Intravenous infusion therapy and nursing refers to the technology and clinical practice of intravenous infusion in body fluids and electrolytes, pharmacology, infection control, pediatrics, blood product infusion therapy, parenteral nutrition, anti-tumor therapy, quality management and so on.
Professional nurses (professional static nurses) engaged in intravenous infusion treatment and nursing should meet the following conditions: registered nurses; Bachelor's degree in nursing; 65,438+0 years experience in intravenous infusion therapy (65,438+0,600 hours of intravenous infusion therapy and nursing in two consecutive years); There must be a first-class certified registered nurse certificate for intravenous infusion.
Professional static nurses' job responsibilities are: professional static nurses should participate in the whole implementation process of infusion treatment, ensure the provision of safe and high-quality infusion treatment and nursing, and control costs at the same time.
(1) venipuncture and all operations and nursing related to infusion. Check the puncture point of peripheral venous catheter and change the dressing, catheter and site regularly; Daily observation and maintenance of various venipuncture catheters; Chemotherapy administration and blood component infusion; Operation of arterial catheter and blood gas technology; Parenteral nutrition.
(2) According to the practice standard of infusion treatment and nursing, formulate, implement and strictly abide by the infusion system and process.
(3) Promote the professional practice of infusion therapy and nursing by actively participating in professional education, scientific research and developing new technologies.
(4) Provide consultation for medical staff, patients, nursing staff, patients' families, community and people in related industries.
(5) Evaluation of clinical medical products (for static treatment).
(6) Participate in budget management procedures to ensure the most satisfactory nursing quality with the most economical and effective expenditure.
(7) Participate in the corresponding management committee, participate in the evaluation of nursing quality and nursing effect and the accounting of cost-effectiveness.
Professional nurses should be ordinary nurses first. On the basis of mastering the theory and technology that ordinary nurses should master, they meet the admission conditions of specific professional nurses and need special training to become professional nurses. Therefore, professional static nurses should be registered nurses. Through study, supervision practice and ability certification, she should have the professional knowledge and skills needed for infusion treatment and nursing. Generally speaking, there is no uniform standard for the management of intravenous infusion in China. In the United States, the professional qualification certification of professional quiet nurses is a voluntary process, and the requirements for professional knowledge, work experience, practical ability and professional commitment level are far higher than the basic requirements for professional registration.
The examination was organized by NITA, and the qualification was recognized nationwide. The basic conditions are: having a registered nurse's license; Pass the written test in the form of 9 multiple-choice questions mentioned in the definition; Within 2 years before the exam? 1600h registered nurses' nursing experience of intravenous infusion. Re-examination: 3 years 1 re-examination; In three years? Nursing practice of 1000 hour intravenous infusion therapy. In the process of re-reaching the standard, we obtained 40 credits for the continuing education course sponsored by American Intravenous Infusion Nursing Association (INS).
