The so-called comprehensive tax administration office is a joint tax administration office led by the national tax department and involving public security, urban management, street and market management. The office is generally located in the tax authorities, and the director of the office is generally the director of the tax bureau.
Comprehensive tax administration offices are generally or mostly located in grass-roots units, including but not limited to regions, prefecture-level cities or counties and cities.
Under the leadership of the local government at the same level, the main function of the comprehensive tax administration office is to coordinate all departments to rectify the tax work within their respective jurisdictions, improve the tax environment, crack down on tax evasion, increase national tax revenue, and promote tax fairness, justice, rationality, legality, standardization, institutionalization and legalization.
Only by comprehensively administering taxes can we crack down on illegal acts such as tax evasion and tax fraud from all angles and reduce "leakage". Only when taxes are fair, just, reasonable and legal can we better maintain tax order, improve tax quality, safeguard and expand taxes and increase taxes for the country.
