Inner Mongolia Vocational College of Science and Technology was founded in 199 1. Approved by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, put on record by the Ministry of Education, and incorporated into the national unified enrollment plan, it is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning with the qualification of independently issuing nationally recognized academic certificates. The college is an advanced school-running unit, an advanced employment unit, an advanced student funding unit and a demonstration training base of the Ministry of Education in Inner Mongolia. It has national vocational skill appraisal station, Putonghua proficiency test station, digital video DV planner proposition examination institution, National Computer Application Technology Certificate Examination (NIT) Inner Mongolia Examination Training Center and national college graduates' entrepreneurship training base.
