In recent years, there is a trend in English test questions that there are many "out-of-class words" every year, including derivatives and compound words, annotation words (that is, Chinese words are added) and pure words. Students have no preparation for these "extra-curricular words", so they can only guess according to the sense of language and the context in the specific text, while derivatives and compound words are words that students seem to be familiar with. Pay attention to the common test sites of grammar questions. The common test sites for English grammar questions are: nouns, indefinite pronouns, articles, adjectives and adverbs, tenses and voices, modal verbs, phrasal verbs, object clauses, adverbial clauses, attributive clauses, it usage, etc. These test sites often involve a certain language environment and make it situational. Therefore, students can't review.

Focus on all-round development. By all-round development, I mean the all-round development of English, including two aspects: on the one hand, it means the all-round development of listening, speaking, reading and writing, on the other hand, it also means the all-round development of various types of questions. Students must not only pay attention to their favorite "one side" and ignore other aspects.

Don't relax your listening training. There are two possibilities to relax listening training before the exam: first, some students think that their listening is not good, and they will not improve if they practice again, so they simply give up; Secondly, some students think that their listening has reached a certain level, but they are still weak in other aspects, so they should temporarily put down their listening and strengthen other aspects. Both ideas are very dangerous. Don't delve into textbooks. It is important to read the textbook well, but it is not enough to read the textbook well. At least, there is not enough reading, and the British and American cultural background provided by textbooks is limited. Don't think about English in Chinese. Thinking about English in Chinese has many disadvantages. For example, when doing listening questions, Chinese thinking can't keep up with the recording. When doing reading questions, thinking in Chinese will not only take a lot of time, but also it is difficult to grasp the main idea; When doing written expression questions, think in Chinese, and you will write some Chinese-style sentences that violate English habits.

Don't neglect writing. Many students usually don't pay attention to writing, and their handwriting is scrawled, which is very unfavorable for the score of written expression questions. If the writing is not standardized, they will lose some "grievances"; At the same time, according to the grading standard itself, students should pay attention to writing exercises before the exam.
