Do regular brokerage companies need to pay training fees or something to sign artists? Need someone who knows the ropes to answer, thank you, don't answer if you don't know.
There are several kinds of contracts signed by brokerage companies: generally divided into fixed contracts and free contracts. Commonly known as "dead contract" and "living contract". The former means that all commercial activities of artists must be signed or represented by the company after signing the contract. The latter left their own "free space" for both sides, and both sides could make their own decisions on matters beyond the agreement. Brokerage companies generally train promising artists by signing fixed contracts. Regular unified training, or free training according to the terms of the contract, does not require additional fees. If the artist has special training needs, it can be agreed. Therefore, for informal companies with irregular contracts, the issue of training fees should be carefully considered from the beginning. Especially the training under the signboard of a film and television project is even more unreliable. Mature film and television project operation does not start from cultivating people, but from employing people.
