How do people shoot macro?
Prepare a macro lens:

It is best to prepare a macro lens for macro shooting. All SLR cameras have corresponding macro lenses. For example, Canon has a very famous macro lens. When choosing a macro lens, it is best to choose a macro lens of 1: 1, and then choose a lens that is more suitable for you through your own purchasing power.

Prepare tripod:

Macro lenses are generally heavy, so it is not so easy to catch small animals. If you hold a camera, you will be very tired, so it is necessary to buy a tripod to put your camera, and then you can shoot easily.

How to set camera parameters:

For macro, we need to shoot the details of small animals as clearly as possible, so the aperture needs to be smaller and the shutter can be slower. Anyway, with a tripod, the picture will not be blurred. ISO can be adjusted according to the environment, generally 200-800.

Buy rangefinder:

Sometimes, for the effect of macro shooting, we often need to buy a rangefinder (for example, we want to shoot the compound eye of a fly), which can make us shoot for more minutes and is also very interesting.

Try using the flash:

In many cases, you need to use a flash. Of course, what we are talking about here is generally the overhead flash of the camera (not the flash that comes with the camera). You'd better buy one and put it on the hot boots of the camera. Studio flash can also be used, but it is inconvenient to carry and shoot.

What is suitable for beginners to shoot:

If the novice takes macro shots, it is suggested to start with simple small animals (insects) or water drops, flowers and plants. Common are water drops on leaves that have just rained, ants, ladybugs and so on. , relatively easy to capture. Then mantis, butterfly, Petunia and so on. It is also a good choice.

Later direction:

The later macro stage is not complicated, so we can sharpen the content we shot if necessary. Of course, it must be done well in the early stage, and it can only be an aid in the later stage. More things have been decided in advance.

Follow the team:

Shooting a macro to find bugs is a very troublesome thing. If you go alone, it is usually difficult to find them. If you follow the team, you won't have this kind of trouble, and you can also exchange experiences in shooting macro together.

It is best to shoot in the morning or evening: (especially in the morning after rain)

There is also the best time to shoot macro. Generally speaking, sooner or later is better. First, the light is good. Second, insect activities are frequent, especially in the early morning after rain, which is especially suitable for shooting macro.
