Experiential training, also known as outdoor development training, is a training mode in which individuals gain personal experience through full participation in activities, and then under the guidance of trainers, team members communicate with each other, share personal experience and enhance understanding. In other words, from the beginning of the activity, what is known first can be regarded as experiential training. Experiential training is a new way of learning and communication between modern people and modern organizations. Through various well-designed activities, we can achieve the goal of "stimulating potential and melting the team" in the process of solving problems and meeting challenges. The so-called experiential training is a training method in which individuals gain initial experience by participating in an activity, and then communicate with team members under the guidance of trainers, share personal experiences and raise awareness.
Difference: Compared with the latter, experiential training is student-centered and emphasizes learning by doing. It pays more attention to immediate feelings, and changes ideas and attitudes through team learning, direct contact, realistic and personalized learning, and through comprehension and experience. If traditional training is foresight, then experiential training is the opposite of foresight!
