Unity of knowing and doing is unity of knowing and doing?
Yesterday, I saw a colleague's life sentiment in a circle of friends: we all understand the truth, but we just can't do it. Wang Yangming said that this is not true knowledge. It is true knowledge to combine knowledge with practice. Suddenly I found that I know a lot, but I can't do it, so I must work hard and work hard!

She is a saint and actively participates in reading and drinking tea. There is nothing wrong with this speech itself. The problem is that she misinterpreted Wang Yangming's meaning of "unity of knowledge and action".

The original intention of "unity of knowing and doing" is to discover the laws of nature in practice and further improve our understanding of the laws in practice.

Nowadays, more and more people like reading, which is a good phenomenon, but there is an undercurrent of "fast reading".

Some time ago, because I wanted to make up for the lack of reading in the past, I attended a fast reading training camp and asked me to read a book every day and write a book review of more than 1000 words. They gave a template for students to follow, which was really good (consistent with Fan Deng's reading template), and they also provided the book. They are all very good books, such as Liu Yuanyuan's Diligence, thich nhat hanh's Hard Training and so on.

As soon as I touched these books, I liked them very much. I try my best to read them, but even if I don't sleep, I can't finish reading a book with thousands of pages a day. In order to complete the task, I have to look for answers one by one against the template. 18 days, I really "read" 18 books and finished 18 book reviews. What I think most about every day is book reviews, and what I do most is writing book reviews. Other things, such as things that can be put off, were stagnant during that time, and the whole person felt very anxious, so at the end of the training, I declined the tutor's request to stay as a guide and still left the training camp.

It's been three months since I quit that training camp. I can hardly remember the titles of the books I read at that time, except for the two books mentioned earlier, because I really liked them and read the whole book. Now that I think about it, I felt that I was trying my best to finish my homework, because at the beginning of the camp, they promised to refund the tuition fee after completing 18 homework, although they didn't refund it in the end.

Of course, I didn't attend that training camp for nothing. It lets me know that there are so many good books that I haven't read.

There is nothing wrong with curiosity, and there are ways, but it can't be done quickly. If you really don't have time and want to study, I suggest "studying in Fan Deng", which can help you really understand the purpose of a book.

I really appreciate Cheng Jia's ideas on how to read Study hard. If you have time, I suggest you find out and have a look. It may be beneficial.
