Regular calligraphy training classes (especially writing brushes) are ok, but the word crash is a bit deceptive. There is no shortcut to calligraphy, or to put it more popularly. As long as you practice calligraphy in a down-to-earth manner, you will certainly make progress. Who hasn't heard of the fast calligrapher?

I am also a college student, and I am not young. I suggest you practice running script directly, which may be a shortcut. Because running script is the most practical, it will take a long time to practice running script first and then according to the routine, but the writing speed of running script is very slow.

Choose a good copybook and start practicing. Don't take a crash course. For a hard pen, that copybook is actually a good word, and the selection and pasting of calligraphy requires a little higher. I've only practiced Chinese calligraphy, but I heard that Tian Yingzhang/Sima Yan's hard pen calligraphy is good.
