How many process domains are there in the cmmi model?
The version of CMMI 1.3 has 22 process domains. In June 2020, the version of 10 was changed to version 2.0, and it was changed from process domain to practice domain, with 20 practice domains.

What are these areas of practice?

I. Project Management Project management refers to project management activities related to project planning and monitoring.

Including project planning (PP), project supervision and control (PMC), supplier agreement management (SAM), risk management (RSKM), integrated project management (IPM) and quantitative project management (QPM).

II. Organizational Process Category Organizational process category covers various project activities related to definition, planning, deployment, practice, supervision, control and process improvement.

It includes five contents: organizational process focus (OPF), organizational process definition (OPD), organizational training (OT), organizational process performance (OPP) and organizational performance management (OPM).

Three, the engineering process domain includes all engineering professional fields can enjoy the development activities and maintenance activities.

Including the following contents: requirements management (REQM), requirements development (RD), technical solutions (ts), product integration (PI), verification (VER) and confirmation (VAL).

Fourth, the support class supports the class process domain to contain activities that support product development and maintenance. Processes solved by the support class process domain can be used when executing other processes.

Including the following contents: process and product quality assurance (PPQA), configuration management (CM), test and analysis (MA), decision analysis and decision (DAR), cause analysis and solution (CAR).
