Applying for Korean graduate students: Korean teaching VS English teaching GSIS course
There are two options to apply for Korean graduate students: Korean-taught graduate students and English-taught GSIS courses. This paper will introduce the requirements and precautions of these two application methods in detail to help you choose the one that suits you best.

Korean-taught graduate students

Graduate students who teach Korean are applied according to the ranking of schools and majors. Generally, you need to submit the language scores of topic 3-6. If you want to apply for a higher-level and more professional school, you need to have higher language requirements. TOPIK has excellent grades and has a chance to get a scholarship. Some popular majors in top universities also require English scores such as IELTS, TOEFL and TOEFL.

GSIS courses taught in English

English-taught GSIS course is an all-English-taught program of famous Korean schools, mainly for business majors. Applicants are required to submit English scores of at least IELTS 5.5, or equivalent TOEFL and TOEFL scores. In order to improve the success rate of application, students are advised to score above 6.0 in IELTS or other English.
