National free medical students is a free education measure for medical students in Gansu Province. National free medical students are free of tuition, accommodation and living expenses during their school days.
On May 25th, 20 19, the state will recruit 6,700 five-year undergraduate free medical students for township hospitals in the central and western regions in order to alleviate the shortage of primary medical and health personnel.
