This paper puts forward some suggestions on how to carry out professional and technical personnel training under the new form of electric power reform: First, professional and technical personnel training should highlight the words "new" and "high". Professional and technical personnel are not ordinary skilled workers. They are familiar with the basic theories and operations in their own professional fields. Their training should focus on the analysis and handling of new theories, new technologies, new processes, new equipment and on-site accidents. Through training, students should be able to systematically master the latest technology and the use of new equipment in this major; Through training, students can not only master high-level professional knowledge, but also lead professionals to tackle key problems on the spot and solve major technical problems. Second, the selection of training topics should go through extensive and strict investigation and demonstration. Professional and technical personnel have been working in the production line for a long time, and they know best what knowledge they lack and what content they should be trained. When we choose training topics, we should produce them on the basis of full investigation at the grassroots level. There are many ways to investigate at the grassroots level, such as distributing questionnaires to the grassroots level or holding symposiums for professional and technical personnel. The design of questionnaires and forms should be as detailed as possible, such as the professional setting of the unit, the number of people who need training in this major, the content that needs training urgently, the knowledge structure of existing personnel, etc. When holding a symposium, we should make full preparations in advance, for example, we should determine the outline of the symposium in advance so that the participants can be widely represented.
