I don't know what kind of human environment I will face. I set myself a principle: first, the idea is the same, second, I am happy, otherwise I won't do it; I have a pension anyway.
The school is small, with only 40 to 50 faculty members, retirees, young people and college students riding donkeys to find horses. The people in charge of money and affairs are all the boss's classmates. When I entered school, I was at an average level. After a few months, the principal took several recruiters to jump ship and start a new stove. He was jealous when he saw his boss making money. The boss asked me to be the principal when I was in danger, but I didn't accept it and found it difficult to do so. Later, my wife said that you should help him. After a week's consideration, I accepted the appointment of the boss.
To survive, a school must first have students. I chose an admissions officer who the former principal didn't like, but had a strong ability to enroll students as the admissions director. This director is from the south. Her method of recruiting students is very good and she can bear hardships. Coupled with the position of director, she can recruit more students. Every year, she has the largest number of students enrolled in the school. But she cares too much about the commission and has conflicts with other students. Moreover, she monopolized the students and hurt the enthusiasm of her subordinates. I also understand why the former headmaster didn't like her, because the former headmaster monopolized the students and valued money too much. Therefore, the former principal only asked her to enroll students, and even refused to let her enter the recruitment office. How can two greedy people not fight! In order to solve the contradiction between the director and subordinates, I have to work together in Qi Xin to stabilize the enrollment team.
In addition, I have formulated some incentive management measures to mobilize all staff to recruit students and stabilize students. If students arrive at school, parents and students should first look at your accommodation environment and students' employment situation. If you are not satisfied, turn around and leave. To this end, I have implemented militarized management of the school dormitory, with quilts folded like squares, pots, shoes and towels lined up, and the school canteen is no longer outsourced. The students, staff and parents who come to the school are very satisfied and feel that the school is credible. The reputation and credibility of private schools start from these little things, but these little things are the result of the efforts and wisdom of all the faculty and staff.
Because these students have not formed good habits at home, it is very difficult to change their old habits and establish a new order. Therefore, we propose to carry out formative education among students. The student section chief resigned himself because he didn't adapt to my new requirements; I chose a section chief who agrees with me. I told her about how students cleaned dormitory corridors and toilets themselves when I was in college. She accepted it gladly. It turned out that she did very well. After the students cleaned the dormitory corridors and toilets themselves, everyone knew that they were concerned about environmental sanitation. The sanitary environment is much better than a school with cleaning staff. After seeing our dormitory, a president of a state-owned university said with emotion that he should learn from our school in dormitory management. At that time, in order to change the campus environment, I worked with everyone, and the student staff were in full swing and had endless fun.
The school where I work is an electromechanical secondary vocational school. I have done a lot of surveys in many enterprises, mainly to track the performance of students in enterprises and the requirements of enterprises for schools and students. For this reason, I also wrote a survey report to the school (I worked as a principal in a similar public school for ten years before I retired, and I have never done such a survey, because at that time, students were not worried about distribution, and they were all allocated by the state, so there was really no motivation without pressure).
To this end, I made a special investigation on students' sense of responsibility. In the enterprise, some students left because of something; At home, regardless of the hard work of parents, free consumption; At school, I don't know what my responsibility is; In society, I don't know what is the responsibility of citizens. Even, a boy fell in love, irresponsibly caused a girl to get pregnant, and did not want to bear the cost of induced abortion, but brutally killed the girl. Many examples show me that students lack responsible education and training, and the harm caused. Students in secondary vocational schools are actually quasi-professionals. They don't know how many social roles they will have or the responsibilities of each role. To this end, I wrote a book "Be a Responsible Person" for the school as a teaching material for the school's ideological and political course. In order to achieve good results, I also specially held a training lecture, asking teachers to pay attention to case teaching after explaining the truth. Looking back now, when I was in a public school, the course of ideological and political education was completely selected and taught according to the requirements of my superiors, almost all of which were aimed at party member. Very lack of pertinence, the effect can be imagined. Later, we proposed to adjust majors according to market demand and train students according to enterprise needs. These are all ideas that I didn't mention when I was a principal in a public school.
Now the students in secondary vocational schools are all students who can't get into high school. Their cultural foundation can be imagined. What kind of learning and loving learning can they embark on to meet the needs of enterprises? Therefore, under my advocacy, classroom teaching should pay attention to application and truth should pay attention to qualitative analysis; At the same time, it also opened a pilot project of school-enterprise cooperation. Private schools rarely receive documents from their superiors, and many of them are searched online. I found that I was on the right path. So, I decided to choose a class for students who have been studying at school for one year, and let them live in an enterprise where they can learn while working. That is to say, in the enterprise, the old worker is the teacher. Before learning the operation technology every day, the old master will give a lecture for an hour to learn the professional knowledge, and then go to work. Facts have proved that the effect is very good. At that time, a company actively cooperated, and we asked the reception company to give priority to selecting candidates. Many students were finally attracted by the company, but many students were taken away by better-paid units.
In order to improve students' ability in an all-round way, many colorful extracurricular activities are carried out, which are basically organized by students themselves, and there are too many speeches and performances. At that time, when I participated in the activities, I felt that I was still young and not sick. It is the key to govern the school with culture and shape the school culture. To sum up briefly, my part-time life is a "re-practice" of my work. I carry forward my good experience before retirement and have the opportunity to practice my shortcomings before retirement. Private schools are good soil for innovation.
