The Training Department for International Students of Sichuan University was established in 1979, which is directly led by the Foreign Affairs Department of the Ministry of Education and Sichuan University. It mainly undertakes the task of foreign language training for foreign students and college teachers sent by the Ministry of Education, and also trains all kinds of foreign language talents for the society. At present, it is the largest and most comprehensive foreign language training base in Sichuan Province. In 2002, Sichuan University Preparatory College for Studying Abroad was established on the basis of the Training Department.

On June 5438- 10, 2007, Sichuan University cooperated with Japan Aviation Institute to cultivate aviation talents who are proficient in Japanese, including flight attendants, aviation business, tourism, etc. Starting from March this year, students will receive Japanese training in Sichuan University for 1 year, and then take professional courses for 1 year. Those who meet the standards will be directly promoted to the second year of junior college of Japan Aviation Institute, a subsidiary of Japan Aviation Institute, and obtain graduation certificate and a vocational qualification certificate (equivalent to domestic vocational qualification) after passing the examination.

Advantages of the project: After two semesters of intensive Japanese study in China, the students of this project enter the first-year specialized courses of Japan Aviation Institute, and after passing the JLPT-2 exam, they are directly promoted to the second-year specialized courses of Japan Aviation Institute. After completing the course, you will get a diploma and a college qualification.

Learning process: intensive Japanese training → first-year junior college course (Sichuan University) → second-year junior college course (Japan Institute of Aeronautics) → junior college diploma+junior college qualification.

Admission requirements: Students who have a high school education or have completed the second half of the second semester of senior high school and achieved good results in the senior high school entrance examination are between 17-25 years old.
