On March 29-3 1, the seminar on the practice and development of AIDS case management model and the training course for AIDS case managers in five southwestern provinces were successfully held in Kunming, which is full of spring. Jie Shen, vice president of China STD/AIDS Prevention and Control Association, said at the opening ceremony that it is an important duty of China STD/AIDS Prevention and Control Association to promote scientific AIDS prevention and control and improve the ability of prevention and control teams. The purpose of this seminar and training is to explore an AIDS case management model suitable for national conditions and grass-roots units, publicize and expand the sharing of practical experience and achievements in AIDS case management, and train more nurses to master case management skills.

This seminar and training is sponsored by China STD/AIDS Prevention and Control Association, co-organized by Yunnan STD/AIDS Prevention and Control Association, and undertaken by Yunnan Infectious Disease Hospital/AIDS Care Center, aiming at the new exploration of case management in many places in recent years, and devoted to systematic training of AIDS case management. Experts from Beijing, Yunnan, Hong Kong and other related fields, as well as dozens of clinical nursing workers from Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Guangxi, Hainan and Chongqing participated.
