It is a typical lightweight database, and the customized database engine can be expanded from 250KB to 600KB, which can support various desktop operating systems, mainstream embedded system platforms and different processors. As a full-featured relational database system, OpenBASE Lite supports standard SQL syntax, ACID transaction characteristics, backup/recovery and other functions, and provides standardized development interfaces JDBC and ODBC, which can continue to develop applications based on the experience of relational databases in embedded environment. OpenBASE Lite provides an in-memory database operation mode and provides high-speed data access and update capabilities.
