Richemont is a Swiss luxury company, founded by South African billionaire Anton Rupert in 1988. The company is involved in four business areas: jewelry, watches, accessories and fashion. Since 2004, it is the second largest luxury company in the world in terms of turnover, ranking between LVMH and PPR. Richemont Group, also translated as Richemont Group, is also one of the organizers of the Lawrence Prize (co-founded with DaimlerChrysler).
