◆ The difference between these three instruments mainly lies in the structure and playing method:

Dulcimer is a stringed instrument with multiple strings. Each group is divided into two pitches with a five-degree relationship by the sound bridge, and played with two bamboo hammers, which is suitable for expressing fast-paced music.

◆ Guzheng is an unpretentious plucked instrument. One string and one tone are arranged in five tones, without four tones and seven tones, but you can get four tones from three strings and seven tones from six strings by pressing the strings. Play the melody with your left hand and press the strings with your right hand to produce vibrato, string kneading and sliding effects;

◆ Pipa is a plucked instrument with four strings and more than twenty products. The left hand presses the string to select the scale, and the right hand plucks the string in various ways, and the playing effect is rich and varied.

◆ These three instruments can be solo or ensemble in a band, and their harmony ability is also diverse, so they are the most commonly used instruments in national bands.
